Dinosaur Adventures!! Watch Them Move, Hear Them Roar~~~

Look where we went on a Saturday afternoon!  We went to meet the dinosaurs!!!  The boys have this thing for dinosaurs and D knows many species of dinosaurs.  Thus when I told them about the Dinosaur Trail at United Square and asked them if they are interested in going, they went… "Yes, yes!" with beaming smiles, all looking forward to the adventures they think they are going to have.

Spotted a dinosaur somewhere in the mall.

The kind of expressions I get these days, even if it's him who wanted a photo.  Boys?  I wonder.
Every $80* spent entitles you an Adventure Pass.  Recommended for children aged 4 year and above, each Pass entitles 1 participant to the Dinosaur Trail at United Square and 1 out of 3 obstacle zones at OneKM.  Pretty good deal.  *Terms and conditions apply.

At the Dinosaur Trail, every participant is given an activity booklet.

Waiting patiently for their turn to enter the trail.  Each session, beginning every hour, lasts 30 minutes and the children are given a guided tour, one kids activity and of course photo taking at the Dino Egg exhibit!  If the child is below 10 years old, 1 adult may accompany him / her.  That is why we are there!  :)

Don't eat me!!!!  Do you think Triceratops will eat me?  D took this photo.  Not too bad huh?
Really like these Australian guides.  They interacted and played with the children while they were waiting for the adventure to start.

Very educational and informative.  Questions were asked by the guides - questions on whether the dinosaurs are meat or plant eaters, how they protect themselves and so on.  B and I learnt much too!

These dinosaurs are interactive - they will react to movements and some will produce sounds.  Watch them move, hear them roar!

Information is available for most, if not all, of the dinosaurs on exhibition.  One of the use of the sail of this dinosaur is to regulate its body temperature.  When asked what it does when it it too hot, D exclaimed, "go aircon room!", to which all of us burst into laughter.  #firstworldproblems

Guess what D is looking at?

My 2 cute Little Explorers  :)

After the guided tour, each child gets to be a Junior Paleontologist.  Knocking, scraping and brushing to uncover the little dinosaur.

Certified a Junior Paleontologist!

Despite the waiting time as each session only allows 15 participants on a first-come-first-served basis, the boys and in fact all the other children queuing in the same session as us waited patiently.  It could be because it is the weekends (not too sure!) but what I am sure of is that the Dinosaur Trail is definitely a HIT!

The boys thoroughly enjoyed the whole session.  It was as if we were transported to the prehistoric world of moving dinosaurs, being thrilled by the greatest creatures ever to walk the earth return before our eyes.

If you have a child who is a dinosaur fan, it's going to be one event that the child will keep talking about.  If your child is too young, maybe like E, please do accompany him / her as he / she might get a little scared.
